On Sunday the 25th March 2007 at 17:00 (5:00 pm) on SABC 2 (South African Broadcasting Commission Channel 2) a Documentary on The Meerkat Magic Conservation Project was screened on the 50 / 50 Conservation Programme. This was filmed over 2006.
Included in this documentary were special interveiws with The Wildlife Ranch, and Cyril Clark – the manager of Oudtshoorn Tourism Bureau, Tony Marshall from Nature Conservation, Local Ostrich Farmer Reserve (all film work was done around Oudtshoorn, Western Cape, South Africa).
The Meerkat Magic Conservation Project wishes to thank everyone who helped make this possible, with a very special thank you to Bart Smithers - Big Film and Television Productions cc
who filmed and produced this conservation work!

On the 23 September 2005, Cyril Clarke- The Manager of Oudtshoorn Tourism Bureau and Sue Piper (Executive Manager Leisure Marketing CTRU) South Africa visited The Meerkat Magic Conservation Project on a Sunset Tour.
After an overcast cool afternoon, The Ungulungu Wild meerkat / suricate group was located at their sleeping burrow.

The show was held at the Cape Town International Conference Center (C.T.I.C.C.).
It was fantastic to meet so many enthusiastic and diverse professionals from all around the world, and to experience the energy of our brilliant tourism industry in South Africa! To all those that we met, thank you for your support and interest in our products!

On a Sunrise Tour on the 28th July 2005, Volker Sindel (Kapstadt.com a very informative Touist Information German publication available in South Africa) and Grant M. Mc Ilrath- The Meerkat Man visited The Ungulungu Group of Wild meerkats/ suricates in The Meerkat Magic Valley for a relaxing photo shoot and talk.
Kapstadt.com generously published a promotional on The Meerkat Magic Project in German in a past publication, and this was a behind the scenes view of what happens in the field when watching Wild meerkats!

On the 13 August 2005 the third review by Liesl Roodt about The Meerkat Magic Project appeared in the Afrikaans newspaper Volksblad! Thank you to Steve Oosthuizen from Langenhoven Park for sending Grant M. Mc Ilrath- The Meerkat Man the article.
On the 28th June 2005, the second review of The Meerkat Magic Project appeared in the Afrikaans newspaper Die Burger.
This time, there was a large article on this unique in the world project, with meerkats on the front page of the outdoor section- Die Buiteburger. There was a two page spread with pictures on pages 3 and 4.

On the morning of the 11th March 2005 Guy Adams a Photo Journalist and three guests visited The Meerkat Magic Project for a Sunrise Tour and photo shoot with one of the study groups of wild meerkats, Wild Meerkat Group: Ungulungu.
The wild meerkats tolerated the guests sitting very close to them in positions that they are not very familiar with, almost behind them and next to them!

On the 16th September 2004 Meerkat Magic was invited to be the first guest to be interviewed on the terrific radio station called Rainbow FM or RFM. The DJ and host interviewing for the night was Nelius Vermaak.
The interview was all about technology and tourism and education and the role that Meerkat Magic currently plays in these exciting fields among numerous others. The interview began at 19:00 and ended at 20:00.

On the 27th June an article appeared in a national South African newspaper - Rapport about Meerkat Magic.
Meerkat Magic gave educational presentations to hundreds of children and adults as an awareness drive at the CP NEL museum in Oudtshoorn Western Cape South Africa on the 28th and 29th June 2004. This was a charity sponsored by Meerkat Magic event!
On the 22nd and 23rd July: Kyk Net television films an interview with the Meerkat Man in Afrikaans at Meerkat Magic. See the wild meerkats from the Ungulungu meerkat group and ostriches! The presenter is Pieter Koen for Kwela.
